A Review Of Atomic Bindings
There seems to be some negative reviews for Atomic bindings associated with Atomic snowboards. Some of the Atomic bindings seem to have a less positive reputation than the Atomic snowboard itself Back from Atomic's USSR Siberian R&D facility where this binding went on the wagon and toned up with a complete overhaul. Obviously you'll notice the new split highback. It moves in all directions and is locked into place with a heavily tested, battered and beaten Beefy 2 FLD, which has passed with burly colors. You have to ride this to believe it!
However there seems to be one line that is getting some good feed back.
The Atomic company has come out with a new line of bindings to fight the bad reviews of past Atomic snowboard bindings. The 2007 Atomic Black Russian Snowboard Bindings have been redesigned. The Atomic bindings totally redesigned and named the Black Russian is a result of focus groups and on-hill testing world wide. The new Atomic Bindings are said to be everything a high end binding should be, with performance features like the new Team High Back, 3D Overstitched Ankle Strap, 2 component Folded Aluminum Ratchet, New Con Strap, and a new sporty look with attention to detail.
Some of the new features included in the new Atomic bindings are:
- New Split High Back
- Asymmetrical base plate
- Fully adjustable baseplate cover
- 2 component 3D EVA high back padding
- Tool free Beefy 2 forward lean adjuster
- Adjustable aluminum heel cup
- CNC Aluminum ratchets
- 3D EVA finished Cordura ankle & toe straps
- Complete Matt Coating
The new star of the Atomic bindings definitely seems to be the Black Russian line. Back from Atomic's USSR Siberian R&D facility where this particular line of binding went on the wagon and toned up with a complete overhaul. A rider will definitely notice the new split highback. It moves in all directions and is locked into place with a heavily tested, battered and beaten Beefy 2 FLD, which has passed with burly colors. Riders seem to be saying, "You have to ride this to believe it!" about this line of Atomic bindings.
